Quality Assurance Technicain

SUMMARY:
Ensure products and processes meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct inspections, audits, and tests; collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Identify and resolve quality issues, develop quality protocols, and ensure compliance. Perform quality checks on all incoming/production and outgoing shipments.
Primary Responsibilities:• Responsible for pulling samples from plant floor/warehouse, set up and perform multiple quality tests. • Assist in tracking Quality Complaints and Implement Corrective actions and follow-up. • Accurately compile data and construct charts and graphs based on testing results. • Assist with execution of quality system and product audits - incoming/outgoing and production. • Responsible for disposition of returned materials. • Maintain calibration of test machines as required. • General housekeeping of work area and surrounding area during and after shift. • Operate all lab test equipment and manage their maintenance. • Assist with conducting internal audits. • Work in a safe manner and follow all safety rules and processes. • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Detail-oriented • Knowledge of ISO 9001 is preferred • Must be able to handle up to 40 pounds (for less than 10 seconds) for machine loading. • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. There are currently two openings available — one for Site 1 (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM) and one for Site 3 (four days per week, either Saturday and Sunday, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM).
Eligibility: • Must have basic math skills. • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English. • Proficient in using basic software like MS Office
Experience: • Prefer 2-3 years’ work experience in a similar job, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Salary:
$17-$20 /hour
