Position Description: Extrusion Operator

SUMMARY

Sets up and operates special purpose machines to extrude stretch film by performing the following duties.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following, Other duties may be assigned.
  • Set up and operate equipment to produce orders within specification.
  • Perform quality check and examine product for defects
  • This position with require operator to handle 30-50 pounds unloading the machine, packing finished product, palletizing, etc.
  • Must wear PPE and adhere to all safety rules
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, training is provided
  • Communicate with the supervisor regarding finished work-order, job change, machine issues, quality issues etc
  • Responsible for maintaining a well-organized area in compliance with all company policies
  • Employee must have basic Math skill.
  • Must be able to read and adhere to production orders
  • Must be able to work with devices to measure gauge, micron, inch, foot, yard, meter and others

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This is a physically demanding position requiring the employee to be able to meet the minimum requirement of the strength test administered. This position requires that the employee is capable of manual dexterity with hand, arms, fingers and shoulders. Position Description: Senior Purchasing Associate

SUMMARY

The above role's primary responsibilities are coordinating they buying of stock and non-stock items to support sales and manufacturing requirements at Wrap Tite in the most cost effective and efficient way.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Place purchase orders with both domestic and overseas suppliers
  • Follow-up with suppliers for PO confirmation and update the same in our ERP system
  • Develop and maintain best strategies for purchasing
  • Collaborate with product managers and manufacturing if needed to understand product requirements and negotiate the best programs with new and current suppliers
  • Negotiate pricing and payment terms with suppliers
  • Proactively gather market data to compare supplier pricing
  • Analyze sales trends to identify and develop best sourcing opportunities
  • Conduct supplier evaluations for new and existing suppliers
  • Manage supplier relationships and uphold our quality standards (follow-ups on Corrective Actions or Non-Conforming Materials
  • New product sourcing with existing or new suppliers
  • Develop new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are inadequate

QUALIFICATION:

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • 3+ years' experience in purchasing/inventory management
  • Product sourcing experience
  • Packaging/manufacturing industry experience preferred
  • Microsoft Office expertise – Strong in Excel
  • Persuasive written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Some travel may be required

Position Description: Controller

SUMMARY

The controller position is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of monthly financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure the results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the operations of the accounting department including backing up the Assistant Controller
  • Oversee the accounting operations of subsidiary corporations, especially their control systems, transactionprocessing operations, and policies and procedures
  • Managing relationship with Banks and Insurance and negotiate annual service and contracts
  • Preparing yearly Budgeting and Forecasts of Financials and Departmental Expenses
  • Vendor Rebate Negotiations / Customer Rebate yearly Finalization

Transactions:

  • Manage Vendor/Customer Rebates
  • Monthly Journal Entries of various Expense categories needed to close books
  • Prepare Borrowing Base report to Bank
  • Maintain track of all Inventory Variances and Adjustments
  • Maintain Chart of Accounts
  • Maintain and match all intercompany transactions and accounts
  • Ensure A/P, A/R and Collections are done in a timely manner
  • CAT Tax and Sales Tax filing in a timely manner
  • Monthly Interest Rate calculations and compilations
  • Cash Flow Management

Reporting:

  • Submit monthly Budgeting vs Forecast of Financials for all entities and for Department Expenses and calculate variances
  • Closing and submission of monthly financials by the 5th of following month
  • Monitoring & Analyzing product profitability, off-site location operations
  • Job Overhead calculations – And Analyzing of Job overheads accuracy every quarter
  • Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations

Compliance:

  • Yearly Tax Finalizations and consolidated financial preparation with the help of Wrap-Tite Auditors
  • Yearly 1099 submission of #'s to our CPA's
  • Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and Tax Filings
  • Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree n accounting/Finance or Business Administration
  • Good knowledge of Accounting Principle's is a must
  • Preference will be given to candidates with CPA or Certified Management Accountant Designations
  • Considerable verbal skill.
  • Exempt or Non-Exempt: Exempt
  • Reporting to: President
  • Pay Rate: Level 5
  • Hours Worked/Overtime: As and when needed
  • Bonus Details Annually
